The Al Amal Hospital in Doha, Qatar is setting up a stem cell transplant unit according to a report by The Peninsula. The center is expected to be established by the end of the year. It is expected to “provide optimal care to patients in need of advanced techno-therapy and are unable to afford treatment abroad” according to a source at Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).
