Here’s a news report on Macie Morse, a girl from Colorado who traveled from the United States to have her Optic Nerve Hypoplasia (ONH), a type of blindness, treated in China. The treatment was successful and we see her driving a car in this CBS news report. Isn’t that awesome?

Were you amazed by the story of Macie Morse, the girl with eyesight problems who successfully underwent stem cell therapy in China? Well, here’s another stem cell success story: Adam Kitchen of Matthews, North Carolina.
He was legally blind, went to China for treatment, and he now can see his wife. According to Fox Charlotte, his vision is progressively getting better. Pretty cool, eh?

Of course, stem cell treatments for blind patients are also being undertaken in other countries aside from China. For instance, Prof. Charles McGee in New Zealand has reportedly done similar successful treatments for people with eyesight problems.
