The FDA decided to ban and seize the products after it found that they contain Listeria monocytogenes (L. mono) which is really really bad for your health.

Pradaxa Side Effects & Safety of Anti-Stroke Drug for Heart Patients

Patients with abnormal heart rhythms can take in Pradaxa capsules to prevent stroke and blood clots. The drug, which works by by inhibiting thrombin, an enzyme in the blood that is involved in blood clotting, has recently gained the approval of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Praxada comes with a Medication Guide that will inform patients about the risks if they take the drug. Bleeding (including life-threatening and fatal bleeding) is the most common adverse reaction to the drug. Other adverse reactions reported by patients include uncomfortable feelings in the stomach (dyspepsia), stomach pain, nausea, heartburn, and bloating.

Is Hyland’s Teething Tablets Safe? Nope! Throw Them Out ASAP – FDA

If your child is using Hyland’s Teething Tablets to relieve himself of teething symptoms, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration recommends that you dispose of the tablets now.

According to the FDA, Hyland’s Teething Tablets were found to contain inconsistent amounts of belladonna, a substance which can be harmful in large doses.

Moreover, the agency has received reports of serious adverse events in children taking this product that are consistent with belladonna toxicity. Reports of children who consumed more tablets than recommended because the containers do not have child resistant caps also reached the FDA.
