If you’ve been reading the news these past few days, you might have come across the story of Kyle Willis, a 24-year-old man from Cincinnati who succumbed to death after the infection from his wisdom tooth spread to his brain.
According to the NY Daily News, Kyle was advised to have his infected tooth removed but he decided to tough it out because he neither had the money nor the insurance that would cover the dental expenses.

Botox For Bladder Control Update: In January 2013, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration expanded the use of botox as a cure for overactive bladders to include adults “with overactive bladder who cannot use or do not adequately respond to a class of medications known as anticholinergics”.
In other words, botox treatment for urinary incontinence is no longer limited to those with “neurologic conditions” as mentioned in our earlier post below.
